Rudi's Little Friends by David Dvorkin Being a sampling of the most amusing of the hostile e-mails I've received from fans of Rudi Bakhtiar, CNN anchorairhead, in response to my essay Rudi Bakhtiar is an Airhead. And some friendly, supportive e-mails, as well. Friendlies CNN anchors speak to the audience as if they were idiots. . . . As to Rudy Bakhtiar, she is very beautiful and best watched with the sound off. I just did a search on Google and found your article on Rudy Bakhtiar is an Airhead and I have thought this since the first time I heard her doing the news. I first thought it was Rocky from Rocky & Bullwinkle but soon realized it was Rudy, so then I thought it was a joke or maybe she was on helium. . . . I would say AIRHEAD is an understatement. I'm sure your Rudi Bakhtiar postings are old, but I just had to comment. I say her Saturday night at a lecture for the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Shirin Ebadi. Rudi was the moderator, and she was an idiot. She was so bad it was embarrassing. Most of you that are replying with your opinion of David are missing the point. Just like your opinion of David and of Rudi, David is giving his opinion which he’s entitled to. And if he has the knowledge to build a web page and put his opinion out there, then so be it (which in my opinion just adds clutter to the internet but so be it, FREEDOM OF!). You guys are out there getting all worked up over nothing. Geeze, the man said he doesn’t like her and guess what…HE DOESN’T HAVE TO!! You people need a hobby. Read the essay, laugh, disagree, mumble, whatever and move on. I think it was well written and humorous. But I must say, Rudi really isn’t that bad to look at and I believe that was what CNN was shooting for. I actually have a thing for Robin Meade (She can eat chips in the bed, currently my wife is not allowed to eat in the bed) and love waking up to her. Is she a journalist? I have no idea, she is there to READ the news and attract viewers. As men tend to be the ones with the remote in their hands, guess who they (CNN) are targeting? They missed with Nancy Grace but then that’s just my opinion; someone out there might think she’s a bombshell. I see that most of you have never really debated an issue before. What he said was open for debate and he would have probably enjoyed a good debate. But what is with the unnecessary foul language and insults? Is that the best you can do to show that you are more intelligent than another person? What really tickles me is how easy it is to excite you folks and get you all worked up. You state how insignificant his opinion is, but yet you took time out of your day to respond to it. I generally don’t respond to things that I view as insignificant, not that all this was significant to anyone really, but it was humorous. Thanks for the moment of entertainment David. The fact and plain truth of the matter is, that coming from the looks department Rudy Bakhtiar is a straight up bomb track, a sight for sore eyes on any given day. When ever I accidentally awake too early, I immediately turn on my tv set and rush straight to cnn headline news. There are very few guarantees in life, but like the open sun in the sky and twelve dozen roses setting on a table top, Rudy Bakhtiar is a guaranteed beauty and until they find someone more attractive, Rudy Bakhtiar is and will remain the American males favorite tv reporter, end of story. So in conclusion, calling her an "airhead" speaks more about you than it does of her.
